About
Eurojackpot is drawn in Helsinki for players from several European countries. The first draw was on 23 March 2012; since 29 March 2022 there are draws on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Five numbers from 50 and two euro numbers from 12 are drawn. Guessing all of them is a chance of 1 in 139,838,160.
How it works
- A tip is 5 numbers from 1 to 50 and 2 euro numbers, since 25 March 2022 from 1 to 12 (before: 1 to 8, from October 2014 1 to 10). In Germany it costs 2 euros plus a fee per ticket.
- There are 12 prize tiers, from 5 numbers + 2 euro numbers down to 2 numbers + 1 euro number. Prizes are shared across all countries, so the winner counts here are Europe-wide.
- When nobody hits the top tier, the jackpot rolls over until it reaches its cap of 120 million euros (90 million until March 2022); then the rest goes to the tier below.
